Dozza

THE PAINTED WALLS OF DOZZA

Dozza is a small historical village just south of Bologna whose walls are like adorned canvases showcasing a collective of artwork by local artists. Every two years the village hosts a Painted Wall festival to redecorate the walls and provide an outdoor art exhibition for all to see. Dozza is a small and quiet village but it provides authentic Italian cuisine and also the Enoteca Regionale dell’Emilia Romagna where you can sample and buy some of the best of the regional wines, this is located in the medieval Rocca Sforzesca Castle (The fortress).
